You will be going up to 3000 feet to see Naples and its suburbs. The driver will assist you in purchasing the tickets. Once bought, you can start your adventure climbing to the top of Mt Vesuvius. You will have roughly an hour and a half to explore this magnificent volcano. Despite its violent history of eruptions, Mount Vesuvius still offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area, which is a national park. Mt. Vesuvius’ eruption in AD79 buried the cities of both Pompeii and Ercolano beneath ashes, mud and lava. It left extreme damage but immaculate artefacts that can be seen today. This is a wonderful trip up the stratovolcano, allowing tourists to absorb the natural scenery and history.

Once done we proceed to Pompeii and the drive will take about 60 minutes. You will have 2 hours of free time to explore this ruin. The Wine Tour offers a remarkable experience in the countryside vineyard around the volcano of Mount Vesuvius. Here you will have the opportunity to taste these wines as well have a light lunch. This is a celebrated Neapolitan type of wine produced on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius in Campania Region. The name Lacryma Christi comes from an old local legend that Christ, crying over Lucifer’s fall from heaven, shed tears on the land and granted divinity to the vines that grew there. White Lacryma Christi is made mainly from Verdeca and Coda di Volpe grapes, with smaller amounts of Falanghina, Caprettone and Greco di Tufo. Red Lacryma Christi is made from Piedirosso and Sciascinoso grapes.

For groups of more than 8 people from Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi Salerno we can either provide a Mercedes Sprinter minibus or multiple luxury minivans. This will depend on availability. The use of a minivan allows clients to arrive at the exact location of the destination. With a minibus, you will be dropped further from the destination and you will have to walk to the designated location.
